Participant Eligibility
1) Must be a primary account holder of an active residential Southern California Edison (SCE) electric account. 2) Only participants who have been living (and currently are living) at the home address of the associated SCE account for at least 1 year and therefore have at least 1 year’s worth of electricity data, are eligible to win the reward. Home address must be the primary location of residence. 3) Participants with less than 1 year’s worth of electricity data are still eligible to participate in the challenge, but will not be eligible to win the reward.
Individual Goal
Reduce your kilowatt-hour (kWh) electricity usage by at least 15% (as compared to your usage from July 1 - September 30, 2019).
Collective Goal
Achieve a total of 3,000 kWh in electricity savings as a collective group. This is enough electricity to power an average California home for half a year.
Reward(s)
The first place top energy saver will win a $100 REI gift card, second place will win a $50 Sancho's Tacos gift card, and third place will win a $25 Nekter Juice Bar gift card.
